Cindy Wolfe Boynton is an award-winning journalist, playwright, poet and writing instructor whose work has appeared in The New York Times, Boston Globe,Connecticut Magazine and Better Health magazine, among other print and online publications. An English and journalism instructor at the Yale School of Medicine and Housatonic Community College, she also teaches popular creative and business writing workshops and is host of the weekly Literary New England Radio Show (www.litnewengland.com) that will launch on BlogTalk Radio Dec. 12, 2011.
Her one-woman play “Right Time to Say I Love You,” which focuses on Cindy’s struggles to take care of her mother with Parkinson’s disease, made its world premiere in October at the 2011 United Solo Theatre Festival and played to a sold-out crowd at New York City’s Stage Left Studio. Right Time to Say I Love You also recently received an 80th Annual Writer’s Digest Writing Competition award and was selected as one of just 10 plays to be included in Indie Theatre Now’s digital collection celebrating the best of the 2011 United Solo Theatre Fest.
