WHOA Baby#12 – Five Secrets to Manifesting Healthy Sex

Wednesday, March 30th, 2011

This quote was gleaned from the magazine, Natural Solutions:  ”Multiple worldwide surveys show that 30% of women from teens to seniors, report having little interest in sex.”

This is a WHOA Baby to me because, as women, we ARE sexual BEings. When 30% of women have no interest in sex, then our society suffers. When women are not connected with themselves and feeling good, then there are a whole lot of children, men and women unhappy. Remember that old saying “When Mama ain’t happy, Nobody’s happy!”

Here are my 5 secrets for women to manifest healthy, enjoyable, fun and replenishing sex.

1)  mellow out…start with 30 seconds three times a day to breathe and feel into your body (and sexuality)

2) free yourself from outcomes and expectations…let events unfold organically

3) live in the moment…let your body feel the sensations of the moment

4) surrender to the pleasure…yep, here is the orgasmic part

5) thank your body for the experience…don’t miss this step!

Notice that these steps can be done with or without a partner.  Love yourself up, and then others will automatically love you up too. :)  Why do we resist healing ourselves through pleasure?  As always, your thoughts are much appreciated.

BE Light

BE Love

BE the soul you are in awe of…

WHOA Baby#12 – The Beauty in Chaos

Wednesday, March 23rd, 2011

My WHOA Baby this Wednesday comes from an email that has been circulating over the internet shining a beautiful light in the darkness of the earthquake and tsunami in Sendai, Japan.  This was written by an American woman living in Sendai.

When we strip life down to the bare essentials, let our true nature show, only love and goodness is present.

Beauty comes in many forms and surrounds us everyday.  Please take a moment to appreciate yours.

Hello My Lovely Family and Friends,

First I want to thank you so very much for your concern for me. I am very touched. I also wish to apologize for a generic message to you all. But it seems the best way at the moment to get my message to you.

Things here in Sendai have been rather surreal. But I am very blessed to have wonderful friends who are helping me a lot. Since my shack is even more worthy of that name, I am now staying at a friend’s home. We share supplies like water, food and a kerosene heater. We sleep lined up in one room, eat by candlelight, share stories. It is warm, friendly, and beautiful.

During the day we help each other clean up the mess in our homes. People sit in their cars, looking at news on their navigation screens, or line up to get drinking water when a source is open. If someone has water running in their home, they put out sign so people can come to fill up their jugs and buckets.

Utterly amazingly where I am there has been no looting, no pushing in lines. People leave their front door open, as it is safer when an earthquake strikes. People keep saying, “Oh, this is how it used to be in the old days when everyone helped one another.”

Quakes keep coming. Last night they struck about every 15 minutes. Sirens are constant and helicopters pass overhead often.

We got water for a few hours in our homes last night, and now it is for half a day. Electricity came on this afternoon. Gas has not yet come on.

But all of this is by area. Some people have these things, others do not. No one has washed for several days. We feel grubby, but there are so much more important concerns than that for us now. I love this peeling away of non-essentials. Living fully on the level of instinct, of intuition, of caring, of what is needed for survival, not just of me, but of the entire group.

There are strange parallel universes happening. Houses a mess in some places, yet then a house with futons or laundry out drying in the sun. People lining up for water and food, and yet a few people out walking their dogs. All happening at the same time.

Other unexpected touches of beauty are first, the silence at night. No cars. No one out on the streets. And the heavens at night are scattered with stars. I usually can see about two, but now the whole sky is filled.

The mountains are Sendai are solid and with the crisp air we can see them silhouetted against the sky magnificently.

And the Japanese themselves are so wonderful. I come back to my shack to check on it each day, now to send this e-mail since the electricity is on,and I find food and water left in my entranceway. I have no idea from whom, but it is there. Old men in green hats go from door to door checking to see if everyone is OK. People talk to complete strangers asking if they need help. I see no signs of fear. Resignation, yes, but fear or panic, no.

They tell us we can expect aftershocks, and even other major quakes, for another month or more. And we are getting constant tremors, rolls, shaking, rumbling. I am blessed in that I live in a part of Sendai that is
a bit elevated, a bit more solid than other parts. So, so far this area is better off than others. Last night my friend’s husband came in from the country, bringing food and water. Blessed again.

Somehow at this time I realize from direct experience that there is indeed an enormous Cosmic evolutionary step that is occurring all over the world right at this moment. And somehow as I experience the events happening now in Japan, I can feel my heart opening very wide. My brother asked me if I
felt so small because of all that is happening. I don’t. Rather, I feel as part of something happening that much larger than myself. This wave of birthing (worldwide) is hard, and yet magnificent.

Thank you again for your care and Love of me,

With Love in return, to you all,

Young American woman living in Sendai

WHOA Baby#11 – Stop and Appreciate YOU

Wednesday, March 16th, 2011

I heard a real WHOA Baby at the 100th celebration of International Women’s Day last week. There were speakers from all over the country talking about how women have become more powerful. One area of our lives where we give up our power is in the way we feel about our bodies. This is a quote from Tamilee Webb of Exercise TV and famous video series “Buns of Steel.”

“Ninety-seven percent of Women do not like something about their bodies!!!”

Tamilee mentioned that when she was in her twenties, she did not like her body.  Now that she is in her 50s, she would love to have that 20 year old body.  When will we learn to love our bodies???  When you do not feel good about yourself, no matter how hard you try, you do not bring good energy onto the planet.  This means that everybody loses because you don’t like the way you look!  How can you be in your true womanly power if you are concerned about cellulite or looking fat or or or???  The list is quite huge as you know.

You are a beautiful soul that has a beautiful spirit and juicy body to go with it.  It does not make anyone happy that you are not happy with you.

Call to Action:  Take 30 seconds right now to identify something you love about the way you look.  Find at least 3 ways to accent that body part in the next week.

This is for your happiness, all the people in your life, AND our world!  Yes We Can overcome the insanity of women not recognizing the power of their own beauty.

WHOA Baby #9: Beliefs That Drive our Behaviors

Wednesday, March 9th, 2011

I just returned from the Women Information Network (WIN) celebration of 100 Years of International Woman’s Day yesterday on March 8th.

On this WHOA Baby Wednesday, I share this quote from the San Francisco Convention Center event. WHOA Babies are those short sound bites that you read or hear that make you stop and consider a new view on life and may even make you say “WHOA Baby!  We have to pay attention here.” How about this gem from my interview with Marci Lock, Transformation Coach, who is a perfect example of how powerfully spiritual women have moved into the world. Check out her website to BE inspired,  You can listen to the interview and hear all of her wisdom from our International Women’s Day interview tomorrow on Here is what fitness and nutrition expert Marci Lock has to say:

“80% of what you tell yourself, you believe. Only 20% of what you hear from others, you believe.”

This is how we can change the world! Do you feel it? This is awesome news as we DO have complete control of what we think which leads to what we believe.  So how about believing in the possibility of Living an Organic and Orgasmic Life and creating it.

What would that look like in your life?

WHOA Baby #6: Is it true that Menopause is a Sex Drive Killer?

Wednesday, February 9th, 2011

How do women continue to live the Organic and Orgasmic life going through menopause?

Here are survey results from WebMD newsletter on women and menopause.

About half of women report reduced sex drive around the time of menopause, even though they believe it important to maintain an active sex life. Menopausal symptoms, such as vaginal dryness and pain during sex, may make sex less comfortable. But the hormonal changes of menopause are only part of the picture. An aging woman concerned about her sex drive should also consider the quality of her relationship, her body image and self esteem, medications she is taking, and her physical health.”

What do you hear when you read this?  What I hear and the reason it made it as one of my WHOA Babies is that women need to fall in love with themselves to continue their sex drive through the ages.  Vaginal dryness may occur, and I believe does occur because that is what we are told time and time again.  I am here to tell you that it has not been my experience in menopause.  I have gotten juicier as I have aged because I understand my body and the power of it.

It’s February and the month we focus on LOVE.  My request to you is to make it about self-love, not relationship love.  You may have heard me say it before…LOOK YOURSELF IN THE MIRROR EVERYDAY AND SAY “I LOVE YOU, I REALLY REALLY DO.” Everyday for the rest of the month…try it ladies.  When we have inner happiness and peace, guess what…everyone around us is more at peace and happy.

Stay tuned to learn more about my teleseminar on Peace, Passion and Pleasure coming soon.  It will be chocked full of ideas and ways for women to fall in love with themselves every time they look in the mirror!

WHOA Baby#5: Making Fraud Organic and Orgasmic

Wednesday, February 2nd, 2011

As promised, I am writing today to share more about my fraud experience in the hopes that it can save someone else from going through this very humiliating process. The data on fraud surprised me, and became a WHOA Baby.

“Fraud is considered white collar crime. An Illinois survey shows that 55.2% said that fraud crimes do more to undermine the morality of society than street crimes. More money is lost through white collar crime than as a result of street crime. National survey of fraud victimization show the total annual losses exceed $40 billion.”

This is from a report “Personal Fraud: the victims and the scams,” by Richard Titus of the National Institute of Justice.

Why did I get victimized?  What I have reflected upon is as follows:

1)  I was careless…my message is one that I believe anything is possible.  I believe in miracles and was convinced it was my time to receive one.  Because of that I did not thoroughly investigate the sources offering me this incredible opportunity.

2)  I am not aware of these scams as I rarely listen to news.  I stopped watching news regularly as a means to stay more positive, and create a healthy and uplifting world for myself.

3)  I was susceptible to this offer because it touched me so deeply in my heart.  The thought that I could be paid well to coach small groups of people who do not have access to such services was a miracle I wanted to believe in.

4)  I am a risk taker, and therefore even more susceptible to these crimes.

5)  Scams like this play on a person’s compassion and generosity and I fell for it hook, line and sinker, as they say.

6)  Shocking, but true, 10-20% of people victimized in this way have chronic health problems and those vulnerable are the best targets.

1)  Do your due diligence in investigating those in question.  Call and speak to a live person, look at websites, get name, address, phone numbers.

2)  DO NOT accept money orders.  Tell them to make a wire transfer right into your account.

3)  Insist on US checks

4)  Do not rely on your bank for the best information.  IF you deposit checks or money orders, be specific when the checks will clear NOT when the money is available.

The Organic and Orgasmic nature of this is that I am not resisting the truth, and am authentically sharing the story.  Life is rich and juicy in many ways!

If this information helps 1 person…it will have been a good day!

WHOA Baby #4 – Coach Betty dealing with FRAUD

Wednesday, January 26th, 2011

Today is a real WHOA Baby Wednesday as I have been a victim (I do hate that word) of a FRAUD scandal.  I write today to say BE ALERT and do not conduct business with anyone you have not met or been referred to by someone you trust.  I am a trusting soul who believes in miracles and wants to make a huge impact on empowering people in the world, and right now I feel about 2 inches tall.  DON’T let this happen to you.

It all started in December when I received an email from a woman in London named Catherine Thornton who invited me to lead coaching workshops in Marin County (where I live).  These workshops to be held for the underprivileged (heart strings) and there was funding available so I would also be paid handsomely.  After numerous pieces of correspondence laying out an elaborate tale of Catherine as a mom caring for her ill daughter (more heart strings) so she needed to turn over the registration task to an outside source.  Harriet Washington became another name in the whole scandal and she sent International Money Orders to me, totally over $4,000 and said she needed me to send money Western Union so that she would not be taxed twice…once in the US and again in the UK.  This is where I should have been on to it, but I also received a schedule of the workshops and other pertinent information about how the workshops would be conducted.  I went to the bank and they assured me the money orders were good, and funds would be available the next day.  I sent the Western Union transfers the next day, and a week later my account was overdrawn.  My bank is claiming I am responsible for over $4,000 at this point in time.  Fraud claim and police report filed…fire building in my belly for justice.

There is a silver lining, and an organic and orgasmic way…I will keep you posted on how I find it.

In the meantime, check out this article to help avoid being a victim.  FRAUD ARTICLE

WHOA Baby #3 – SEX boosts Self-Esteem

Wednesday, January 19th, 2011

Boosting self-esteem was one of 237 reasons people have sex, collected by the University of Texas researchers published in the “Archives of Sexual Behavior.”

Gina Ogden, PhD who is a marriage and family sex therapist, finds that those who already have self-esteem say they sometimes have sex to feel even better.  ”One reason people say they have sex is to feel good about themselves.”  Great sex begins with self-esteem.  If the sex is loving, connected and what you want, it raises it.”

This is why I am so passionate about helping women rediscover their beauty and sexuality so that they fall in love with themselves every time they look in the mirror.   Imagine how your enjoyment of sex would change if you always felt good about YOU…and then having sex made you feel even better!  Now that’s a WHOA BABY!

What if you felt beautiful and sexual with anyone, anytime and anywhere?  How would your life be different?
