ARTICLE: The Holiday Version of Organic and Orgasmic Living
You may know of my 5Ps to Peace, Passion and Pleasure. Today, I offer you a special holiday version of this powerful process.
The first step to living a juicy life is to build Pauses into your day/week/life. You can not move with the flow of nature and squeeze the juice out of every moment when you are buzzing through life. Write pause on your to do list, think pause when you wake up in the morning, and most of all when you are stressed, PAUSE for at least 30 seconds before moving on to the next thing. Pausing to feel whatever is there for you to feel is the first of the 5 Ps.
The second is Ponder. So you pause…now what? Pondering is a BEing place. It is about noticing what you feel during the Pause. It is critically important to be in non-judgement of what you observe. Don't even try to change the way you feel. All feelings are valid and lead you to your truth. Can you hold the space for your own truth?
The third P is Plan. The plan for organic and orgasmic living during the holidays is always the same. Simplify whatever plan you have now. Wake up in the morning and consider how you can simplify that day, write simplify 3 times on your to do list, and put stickies with the word simplify on them all over your world (bathroom mirror, purse, etc.). Your life is always more full during the holidays with the added extra fun. Make sure you can enjoy the fun without over scheduling.
Prospecting is the 4th P, and during the holidays it is all about prospecting for joy. Dig deep for what will bring you joy, and then honor it. Have the question rolling through your mind as an affirmation or mantra "What will make this joyful?" When you practice prospecting for joy during the holidays, the bonus is that once you learn the skill, you've got it for the rest of the year too!
And finally, Pop yourself out there in the world with all that beautiful joy. Smile and remember that life is lived in the presence of each and every moment.
