In this final segment from the Paris LIVE show in July, 2010, Coach Betty shares her story of how she discovered the celebration of all the simple things in life leading to Organic and Orgasmic Living. She found a deep appreciation for the ability to enjoy each and every moment, no matter what her body circumstances might be. Enjoying the ordinariness of an extraordinary life is possible for everyone.  How can you learn to appreciate all that nature has to offer you everyday?

The Organic & Orgasmic Paris Show Cast

How can we live organically and orgasmically in our relationships?

In this segment, Coach Betty shares excerpts from noted experts John Gray, Donna Sheehan and Paul Reffell, John Gottman, and Dr. Louann Brizendine who share research and data on the nature of men and women. They offer some findings about relationships which are bound to give you some food for thought. With a 67% divorce rate, we could certainly use some good creative thinking for our marriages AND all relationships.  In my experience with Rheumatoid Arthritis, I know that when I work with nature…moving thru life with little resistance or, as I like to say, organically…then things run more smoothly.

The beautiful tune “Ces Yeux La” on this video was composed by Fa7, beautiful soul inside and out. Here is what he had to say about what this song means. “I wrote this song when I was living in Carnon last year. I had a flat just near the beach; we walked 5 seconds to cross the road and it was the sea. A beautiful place. I wrote this after an argument with my ex-girlfriend. I was sitting on a bench late night summer with my guitar, singin some old song for the birds when the melody came to me and then the lyrics. It was like a psychological work on me after this argument to find out all the reasons that existed for me to keep on in this relationship. And I found a lot. The most important one was how I loved the way she looked at me. Those particular eyes we all have when we love someone. It was one of those night in august with hundreds of shooting stars in the sky. After this I came back to take my air bed and I slept on the beach with a wave music. It was great in fact now that I remember it.”

Where can you spread love by looking deeply into someone’s eyes? “Ces Yeux La” may inspire you to do just that!

An interesting conversation with two passionate coaches on the topic of collaboration. In this 12 minute podcast, Coach Betty and Adee Swanson talk about how much more we accomplish when we reach out and collaborate vs. compete with each other.

Adee shares her story of how she made the first meeting with Coach Betty turn collaborative.  Her philosophy is people with similar visions working together is what makes change happen, but that wasn’t her first thought.

We want to share a creative idea we were involved with to help empower our local community here in Petaluma, CA.

It all started when fellow business owner, Mark Silva of Finesse Salon, thought about providing a haircut to women who were trying to get jobs and get back on their feet again. You can only imagine how excited Coach Betty was when she thought about adding Women on Air to the event and make it an “Inside Out Makeover Day.” Coach Betty called the Petaluma Peoples Services Center and Elece Hempel and June Albor quickly agreed to enroll 6 women in the “welfare to work” program to participte in the Empowerment Day Makeover. (See photos below)

Mark invited other business owners to participate in this ever-widening community event. John Crowley of the Aqus Cafe, Bob Drobatz of the Petaluma Market and Stephanie Rastetter of Water Street Bistro were quick to provide coffee, drinks, paper products and delicious food.

The Empowerment Day included breakfast/lunch, haircut, makeup/fashion advice and a motivational coaching session (an inside out redesign) to these grateful and wonderful women. It was a great success…the women felt treated special, felt more positive and less angry, and an increased sense of confidence while Mark, Coach Betty and Dr. A were tired but happy they got to do what they love and have fun making an impact in the world.

We hope it will inspire others to do what they love while helping out the community. Research shows that one of the best ways to alleviate personal fear (especially around money) is to give generously of your time.

Let’s BE a “community helping community” world!
