Dr. Judy Moskowitz, Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of California/San Francisco, has been studying how positive emotions help you cope with stress. When we have skills to deal with stress, we have less pain and greater health. Her research about positive thinking and emotions is based on her work with HIV+ AIDs patients and their partners in the 1990′s when the diagnosis was considered fatal.
